Paesaggi della sicurezza
Marco Introini è il nostro "uomo con la macchina da presa". Sempre in giro per il mondo, qualche volta si ferma, sceglie un punto di vista, sistema il suo cavalletto e attende pazientemente i passaggi della luce, per catturarli nella sua fotografia.
L'inquadratura è progettata in ogni dettaglio. Il fotografo usa la geometria con sapienza: sugli assi cartesiani dispone punti, linee e superfici. Lo spazio è pronto per accogliere le "forme del tempo".
Abbiamo chiesto a Marco di interpretare liberamente il tema della mostra, laddove le "condizioni di sicurezza" si manifestano, in modo più o meno evidente, dagli spazi interni al territorio.
Il risultato, qui selezionato, è una galleria di ritratti fotografici dedicati a luoghi eterogenei, costruiti per proteggersi dai rischi di ogni tipo.
La realtà è testimoniata senza alterazioni: l'obiettivo fotografico è "naturale" come l'occhio del fotografo, ovvero, di chiunque sappia sostenere la fatica dello sguardo prolungato.
L'elegante e rigorosa astrazione del bianco e nero trasfigura una composita sequenza visiva che, in questo caso, dai sotterranei alle montagne, fin giù al mare, mostra ciò che l'homo faber ha prodotto per tentare di vivere "senza pericolo"

Landscapes of safety
Marco Introini is our “man with the movie camera”. Always travelling around the world, he sometimes stops, chooses a point of view, sets up his tripod and patiently waits for the passing of the light, in order to capture it in his photograph.
The framing is designed in every detail. The photographer uses geometry with great skill: on the Cartesian axes he arranges points, lines and surfaces. The space is ready to receive the “forms of time”.
We asked Marco to interpret freely the theme of the exhibition, wherever “conditions of safety” manifest themselves, more or less visibly, from interior spaces to the wider territory.
The result, as presented here, is a gallery of photographic portraits dedicated to heterogeneous places, built in order to protect themselves from all kinds of risks.
Reality is recorded without alteration: the photographic lens is as “natural” as the photographer’s eye, that is, the eye of anyone who is able to sustain the effort of prolonged looking.
The elegant and rigorous abstraction of black and white transfigures a composite visual sequence which, in this case, from underground spaces to the mountains and down to the sea, shows what homo faber has produced in an attempt to live “without danger”.
